STATE OF MIND, BRAIN WAVES and FREQUENCIES
Hypnosis uses a natural state of mind, therefore the process is completely natural and safe.
The brain consists of billions of cells called neurons, which communicate with each other using electrical signals.
When the neurons communicate with each other it creates electrical activity in patterns corresponding to the consciousness of the mind.
Beta Brain Wave – The awake state has a brain activity frequency between 14-21 cycles per second. In this state the conscious mind is so busy that it is hard to be creative or program changes. For this reason it takes thousands of repetitions to effect positive changes.
Delta Brain Wave – The sleep state has a brain activity frequency of 05-4 cycles per second. In other words, this state is too deep for programming changes.
Alpha Brain Wave – The relaxed or meditative state has a brain activity frequency of 7-14 cycles per second. This state is perfect for self-hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy work where positive changes can take place in about 20 sessions.
Theta Brain Wave – The somnambulistic state, also known as sleepwalk state, has a brain activity frequency of 4-7 cycles per second. This is the deepest trance and the perfect state for hypnosis. In this state the subconscious mind can be accessed and positive changes can take place in one session.
Researches have shown that brain waves can be stimulated to achieve the desired state, in which positive changes can be programmed instantly and effectively to a person’s current mental and physical states.
